Shimmer follows her into the room. They can hear quiet animal noises, but they are not visable."Of course, I keep them outside." He points to some small holes in the wall. "Carved those myself, ankle holders." He grabs an bucket from a nearby wall. "Can I see your hind paws."

He takes her hind paw and takes a brush out of the bucket. He begins to smear something slimy across her paw.

He finishes with her paw picks up the other one. "Brine solution." He says. "Gets them interested." He brushes the solution onto her other paw, making sure to coat her toes.

"It's just salt,water and a few other things." Shimmer says, brushing a little more onto her toes. "Alright, put your paws through two of the holes."

She could feel a cool breeze on her paws from the other side, then hot breaths against her sole and a nose gently sniffing her toes.
