The vines get steadily faster as time passes and Shimmer's laughter goes up in pitch. A few more vines worm their way between his toes.

Shimmers jerky movements begin to slow as he begins to pass out.

"Alright vines you can stop now he passed out now." She goes around to the room he was in and helps him up and pulls him to the next chamber.

Emma looks at Shimmer. "Eels??" She looks at him confused a bit.

"Yeah." Shimmer says. "This whole place was carved out by an underground river system. This caves lake is deep enough that eels like to live in it. On the bottom there is a layer of rock over another layer of rock, the eels like to live between the two layers, and they go back and forth via holes in the upper layer. How long can you hold your breath?"

"Well in order to get the full experience, we need to go to the bottom." Shimmer says. "I can make you an ice helmet so you can breath for a while."

Shimmer slips into the water. "Follow me." He says, takes a breath and goes under.

He leads her to the bottom. There, he points out a number of holes, just large enough to stick a paw though.

She swims a bit up and slips her paws into the holes and holds onto the wall with her fore paws so she wont sink down.

The water on the other side of the holes is slightly cooler. Something slimy brushes up against Emma's left sole.

Emma squeaks and squirms a bit. "Ahh what is that?" she wiggles her toes.

A similar feels starts on her other sole and another between her toes. Suddenly on her arches it feels like someone is giving her a constant light electric shock.
