Looking for a challenge

*Brinton is waiting around for an opponent to come by to challenge to a battle*

Max suddenly flew in, closing his wings a little too early and skidding to a stop; the ground behind him was cut from his talons and claws. Turning to Brinton he greeted, "Hey there, name's Max."

"Hi, i'm Brinton and I started this place," he repies to Max. "You must be new as I haven't seen you before. Are you enjoying yourself?" he asks.

Max shrugged a little. "A tad uneventful so far, but I'm sure things will liven up over time," he answered before scratching his chin in thought and adding, "Saw the offer for a challenge and decided to fly on in."

"Alright then, but what type of breath type are you?" he asks.

"Fire," Max simply answered.

[Dragonmaster19]

"Me too," he says. "Since your new, i'll let you have the first move," he offers.

Max started out by releasing a breath of fire at Brinton, quickly extending his wings to prepare to dodge.

He quickly conters with a breath of his own fire. The two flames meet and extinguish each other into nothing but smoke. "Have to try better then that," he says.

When the smoke had cleared Max was gone, already a good distance away from Brinton in the air. Max closed his wings and dove down at his opponent.

Brinton quickly dodges his attack, taking flight just before Max hits the ground.

Max ended up slamming head-first into the ground and ended up on his back before rubbing his head as he sat up. "Oh my head...why do they always take off just before the attack can hit?" he wondered aloud before looking for his opponent in a daze.

Brinton takes advantage of Max's daze and grabs him by the tail and lifts him in the air.

"Yike!" Max exclaimed before grabbing onto Brinton, his sharp claws digging under the dragon's scales.

Brinton yells in pain and quicly drops Max's tail, but they are already at least a hundred feet into the air.

Max let go of Brinton and fell a few feet, before opening his wings and gliding for a moment before flapping them once to gain altitude.

Brinton manages to slash one of Max's wing membranes, causing a fair sized hole in it.

Max shouted in pain before closing his wings and falling to the ground. Once he landed, he extended his hurt wing to see the damage. "Owowowow...This better be fixable," he commented.

"It should be. My sister can fix you up easy," Brinton says as he lands near Max. "I'm really sorry, but I can get a little carried away in battle."

"Well hey, as long as I can fly again after it heals I won't be too mad. Plus it really is a smart move to take away your opponent's ability to fly during a fight," Max replied.

"It really is, but i'd never purposly do it to a friend in a practice battle," Brinton says.

Max gave a kind smirk and replied, "Well, why don't we just call this a time out until my wing gets fixed?"

[Dragonmaster19]

"Alright, come on then,' Brinton says as he takes Max to a large cave.

[max7345]

Max followed Brinton into said cave.

When they get there can see a white dragoness aroound Brinton's age sitting aroound.
"Clare, Max here needs your help,' Brinton says, making her turn. "Well, what's the problem?" she asks.
